Tutoring & support
Study skills & literacy support
Practical strategies for older learners, shaped around the demands of their studies.
Make studying more manageable
As learners get older, support increasingly focuses on organisation, literacy, revision and managing academic work. Study skills support is available from age 14+, including Years 10 and 11, sixth form, college and university.
- Planning, time management and deadlines
- Reading, note-taking and written work
- Revision and memory strategies
- Assistive technology, including voice-to-text and Read Aloud
Sessions aim to build confidence and independence, with regular progress reviews to keep support aligned with the learner’s needs and goals.
