What happens during an assessment?

  1. A free conversation

Talk about your concerns and what you hope to find out. There is no need to know which service you need.

  2. A little background

After your conversation, Kim requests the relevant background information to help plan your assessment.

  3. Your assessment

The assessment is tailored to the individual. It typically takes around 2–3 hours, depending on the assessment and circumstances.

  4. Understanding the results

Kim considers the findings alongside your background and experiences of learning.

  5. Your report, where applicable

Full reports explain strengths, difficulties and recommendations. Please allow up to three weeks after assessment.

What does a full diagnostic report include?

Tell Kim about any deadlines during your initial conversation so that timings can be agreed beforehand.
